Alberta Cancer Board Prevention ProgramOne of the best ways to limit the devastation of cancer is to find it early, using screening tests. Sometimes pre-cancerous growths can even be spotted during screening tests and removed, so they don't become cancerous. The Alberta Cancer Board has launched three provincial screening programs: Alberta Cervical Cancer Screening Program Alberta Breast Cancer Screening Program Alberta Colorectal Cancer Screening ProgramThe Alberta Cancer Board also operates Screen Test , an organized screening mammography program with fixed sites in Calgary and Edmonton, and three mobile clinics that visit approximately 100 rural locations each year.
