The Edmonton Radiopharmaceutical Centre is a centralized radiopharmacy operating out of the Cross Cancer Institute that manufactures specialized radio-labeled diagnostic and therapeutic agents for hospitals and other nuclear medicine users in the Edmonton area. These products are also marketed on a limited basis to other medical facilities. The centre is a non-profit, self-sustaining operation under the administration of the Alberta Cancer Board.
Although the primary purpose of the Edmonton Radiopharmaceutical Centre is to supply ready-to-use radiopharmaceuticals, several other products are also manufactured.
