Overview of Research Programs
Dr. McGregor’s research focuses on early detection and screening as a means of cancer control. She has studied knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the public and health professionals regarding both established and new cancer screening procedures. Her current work focuses on identifying barriers to implementing population-based screening for colorectal cancer and developing intervention strategies to increase adherence to screening recommendations. More recent work focuses on the evaluation of novel biomarkers of colorectal cancer.
