Associate Cancer Centres
Four associate cancer centres are operated by the Alberta Cancer Board in:
The centres’ physicians, nurses and pharmacists receive certification within Alberta’s two main cancer centres—the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary and the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton.
The goal of the Community Cancer Network, which includes the associate cancer centres and 11 community cancer centres, is to provide the same quality of cancer care and support to patients in their home community as would be received at one of Alberta Cancer Board’s two main cancer centres.
