Group Programs
Support groups bring together people who share a common experience. The group provides a safe place where participants can tell their story and help each other cope and adjust to cancer. Many people say that In the group they no longer feel alone or different, and they realize that their reactions and emotions are a normal response to the cancer experience.
Support groups are facilitated by trained professionals and typically are one or one-and-a-half hour sessions offered once a week, with new sessions usualy beginning in the fall, winter, and spring.
