Patient Orientation
Alberta Cancer Board has many information resources available to help you learn more about your cancer and treatment.
Your Patient Guide is a reference document that will help you navigate through your cancer treatment. The following additional information resources are available to you and your family at our main treatment centres in Calgary and Edmonton.
Information Centres
Patients, families and members of the public are welcome to use the information centres. Plain language books, pamphlets and audio-visual resources that relate to cancer, its treatment, and how to cope with the illness may be borrowed. Our library staff and volunteers will help you to find the information you want. Professional librarians are available to help find information to answer more complicated questions and to help you locate information resources not found in the information centres.
