Process
If you wish to attend the Tapestry retreat, we invite
you to submit an application to the address
listed in the column to the left on this page.
You can also call (403) 998-8549 and leave a message.
The Tapestry Coordinator will call you back and answer any
questions or arrange to mail you an application form.
After we receive your completed application you will be entered on
a waiting list for upcoming retreats as funding becomes available.
We will contact you when an appropriate retreat date is set and
determine your availability.
Please note: we give priority to those with metastatic
disease. For safety reasons, we ask
that you check with your physician that it is reasonable
for you to be away from a hospital setting for five
days.
Prior to attending the retreat you will be assessed
either in person or by telephone to ensure that the
program is suitable to your needs.
For the first time, Tapestry is offering retreats
for couples. If you wish to participate in the couples
retreat, please
dowload the appropriate application form. . If you are unable to
download the application, please leave a message at (403) 998-8549 with your
address and one will be mailed to you.
- Mail the completed forms to the address given
in the sidebar.
- For those able to pay a non-refundable deposit
of $50.00, a cheque
made out to Tapestry Retreat Program Fund should accompany
the form.
- Priority on the waiting list is based on cancer
prognosis, date of receipt of the application and
length of time on the waiting list.
